Lari Wilson - body piercer and manager

I've always enjoyed the primitive beauty of body piercings. I had been doing them on my own for friends for several years, then finally decided to formally apprentice at a piercing shop called The Hole in San Diego, CA. I spent a pretty amazing time there, learning all the ins and outs of the trade, doing piercings both standard and exotic. In time, I became their chief body piercer, and remained so until relocating to CT. I believe a well-placed body piercing can transform both body and spirit. Whether as a rite of passage, a symbol of personal importance, or just because it looks really cool, piercings set us apart from the everyday world.
