Hello, once again, tattoo lovers!
It's May! Time to get your arms and legs tattooed before the summer sun arrives! Spring is a great time to be tattooed. The weather is warm enough that you can heal without clothes rubbing on your new tattoo work, but it's still early enough in the season that you won't be tempted to sunbathe (a real no-no for tattoos) or go swimming yet. Come see us and get that perfect tattoo this month so you can show it off this Summer.
Skin to Canvas II returns to Spirit
Opening reception, May 14
Our second annual Skin to Canvas show opens next Saturday! Be sure to come for the opening reception on May 14th from 6-9 p.m. to meet some of the artists and generally have an excellent time with us! (Most excellent.)
"Skin to Canvas II" will hang until July 2. Viewing hours are 12- 8 p.m. Tuesday - Saturday.

Blaze is doing a Totem Animal Retreat!
Join Blaze for a 3-day painting retreat with the animals of Earthfire Institute This three-day retreat, June 24, 25, 26 2011, gives aspiring and established artists alike an opportunity to experience totem animals in the personal way that only Earthfire can provide. Painter and wildlife tattoo artist Blaze Schwaller (our Blaze) will lead students through a weekend of drawing and painting, using the inspiration they gain from interacting with the animals to create personal artwork that honors the connection between human and animal - spirit.
