Paradise Tattoo Gathering

This week, Stacey and Blaze return from the Paradise Tattoo Gathering at Jiminy Peak, MA. Once again, the convention was a wonderful experience, and both artists were able to participate in several forums and seminars over the course of the weekend.

Shawn Barber's portrait painting course was a lot of fun, and went over a great many time-saving techniques and ideas. As we finish our paintings that we started in class, we'll hang them in our stations so that you all can see them when you visit for your tattoos!

Stacey attended Russ Abbot's seminar on Saturday, and both Blaze and Stacey attended Guy Aitchison's Reinventing the Tattoo talk. With all of the great advice, ideas and new information the artists have shared with us, we are really excited to be returning home to open up the new studio and start tattooing this weekend!

On Saturday night, Jessica Gagnon won 3rd place in the best female backpiece category during the tattoo contests. She kindly gave her trophy to Blaze, so you may see that at the studio as well. Aw. :)

On Sunday, Stacey was able to attend a few more forums while Blaze got another 6 1/2 hours of work done by Todo from ABT Tattoo.

We look forward to sharing with you all of the great creative inspiration we gained from our trip, and hope to see you at the grand opening of the New London studio this Saturday the 26th. See you there!
